Description John Whitlock 2004-03-18 09:16:24 UTC
When emerging etherwake-1.08 with gcc 3.3, the multi-line string literal usage_msg (starting at line 9) causes compiler errors. This feature of C has been depreciated starting in gcc 3.0 and removed in gcc 3.3.

If each of the 20 or so lines is started with a double quote and finished with a \n", the program compiles without errors.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge etherwake-1.08

Actual Results:
Fails on the compile step.

Expected Results:
Compiles without failures
