fetchyahoo has been deprecated by the author. It been mostly nonfunctional since Spring 2013 and completely nonfunctional since mid-June of 2013 due to changes in Yahoo's webmail interface. Futhermore it is no longer needed anyway, as Yahoo has free IMAP Per the author: "Fetchyahoo has been deprecated. Use fetchmail instead. The original intention of fetchyahoo was to replace fetchmail for Yahoo! Mail since the free Yahoo! Mail supported neither POP nor IMAP. But Yahoo! Mail now supports IMAP so using fetchmail or standard mail clients is now possible and fetchyahoo is no longer necessary." Its time to treeclean this sucker. CCing treecleaners then # Eray Aslan <eras@gentoo.org> (26 Apr 2014) # Non-functional and no longer needed - bug #450116 # Removal in 30 days net-mail/fetchyahoo Punted from the tree. |
