What if you build with USE="-sna"? (In reply to comment #1) > What if you build with USE="-sna"? with glamor and uxa fails to configure in different way..you want different bugs filed? Yes, please. Problem appears to be following inline assembly in kgem.c http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel/tree/src/sna/kgem.c?id=2.20.13 constant inline static unsigned long __fls(unsigned long word) { asm("bsr %1,%0" : "=r" (word) : "rm" (word)); return word; } Created attachment 334012 [details, diff]
patch
This should do it. Please confirm and I'll send it upstream.

Patch as been committed: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel/commit/?id=fc702cdf534a4694a64408428e8933497a7fc06e Also no one seems to know what -intel graphics are used in ia64 systems. It's possible that it was only gen1 graphics which don't use SNA. Fixed, but shouldn't have. :( |
