More info about your system is required. The minimum is 'emerge -1pv sys-fs/udev'. A detail or two about your setup (i.e. are you using initramfs, is CONFIG_DEVTMPFS_MOUNT set, etc.) might matter too. Thank you, the problem seems to be solved. For some strange reason on my system udev was merged with USE=-kmod (perhaps I did 'emerge --sync' before this use-flag was added). |
