Thanks for helping out Gentoo. I have added the IP you specified in the bug to our access database, please start synching to rsync1.us.gentoo.org per our Rsync document at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/rsync.xml. We would like to add you to the gentoo-mirrors Mailing List, as we send our notifications of updates, releases, and changes in policy to the mirrors; what email address would you like added? Once again, thanks for the hardware and bandwidth! For Infrastructure, Jeffrey hans@cs.mcu.edu.tw Thanks In addition to the RSYNC service of gentoo portage, gentoo.csie.mcu.edu.tw is now also provide ftp service with distfiles, snapshots and x86 releases in BOTH IPv4 & IPv6. Best Regards, hans@cs.mcu.edu.tw Your mirror has been added into the rsync.asia.gentoo.org and rsync.tw.gentoo.org rotation. Please sync per our distfiles and rsync documents specify. Thanks for the bandwith! Cheers For Infrastructure, Jeffrey Excuse me. One of my job is to promote the Taiwan's IPv6 technology, so please kindly give me a "*" or something in the webpage(mirrors.xml). Besides, in addition to RSYNC, we also provide FTP protocol for using, please kindly add it into the webpage if not making too much trouble. The machine fully supports IPv6 in both RSYNC & FTP services. Thank you very much. http://gentoo.csie.mcu.edu.tw Best Regards, Hans I apologize for the delay, the mirror page has been updated per your requests. Thanks for helping out! For Infrastructure, Jeffrey Excuse me, disturbing again. I don't see there is anything changed on the website(mirror.xml). What I required is nothing but a "*" or "(IPv4 & IPv6)" mark. It's kinda important to me to promote the Taiwan IPv6 technology. For example, Ming Chuan University (Taiwan/rsync IPv4 & IPv6)* Ming Chuan University (Taiwan/ftp IPv4 & IPv6)* rsync://gentoo.csie.mcu.edu.tw/gentoo ftp://gentoo.csie.mcu.edu.tw/gentoo I do really appreciate your help. Thank you. Best Regards, Hans Thanks so much ! |
