Just noticed (2) too... 5) It's not a bug, just a suggestion: to split " # ls /boot/kernel* /boot/initramfs* " in " (chroot) livecd etc # ls /boot/kernel* /boot/kernel-genkernel-x86_64-3.6.11-gentoo (chroot) livecd etc # ls /boot/initramfs* /boot/initramfs-genkernel-x86_64-3.6.11-gentoo " here: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-amd64.xml?part=1&chap=7#doc_chap4 Thanks; I've fixed (1.), (2.) and (3.) in CVS. Regarding (4.), it wasn't the intention to only show the documentation with the equery command (the documentation part was only the first part of the paragraph). It truely was to tell the user how to view all files provided by a package, as it might contain other interesting files and directories. On (5.) I think that's a matter of preference. I like the shorter notation here as it shows new users that several expressions on a single line are just fine. Thank you for reporting this! Much appreciated. |
