Hhm, an "ebuild ... test" runs fine now therefore it would be really good if this feature (https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-945208-highlight-.html) could be implemented.

That's why it would be really cool if portage would *not* delete the
/var/tmp/portage directory if a test failed - even if 

FEATURES="parallel-fetch compress-build-logs test test-fail-continue"

is set. 

I thought that I already filled a RFC for this but cannot found it now in bugzilla ...
