Also, forgot to mention: libsoup can be bumped safely to 1.99.28.

The new ebuild worked fine for me.  I also installed the updated libgtkhtml and gal but did not install the new libsoup.  No crashes or anything out of the ordinary so far on my ~x86 box.  Great work.
