well, why does portage fail on the ebuild at this phase? the *.debug files are not present in the netbeans-profiler tree at all and should not be there. it compiles fine here with sys-apps/portage-2.1.11.36:0. same with portage-2.1.11.34 this is definitely related to FEATURES="splitdebug" works fine without so what's happening here? maybe the cause is it attempts to split debug on files for non-native archs, like sparc etc? (these are bundled with netbeans-profiler for remote profiling, as i was told) (In reply to comment #4) > maybe the cause is it attempts to split debug on files for non-native archs, > like sparc etc? (these are bundled with netbeans-profiler for remote > profiling, as i was told) Yeah, I'll fix it so it won't die in that case. This is fixed in git: http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/portage.git;a=commit;h=d08f5efd56c19afab3e4538baf91fe4d6d7ecb1b This is fixed in 2.1.11.37 and 2.2.0_alpha148. |
