patch for virtio-kmod-0.228301-r1.ebuild

new ebuild filename is virtio-kmod-0.242658.ebuild

This patch only supports version 9.0 or later.

Gentoo/FreeBSD does not already support 8.x.
I think no problem to remove the 8.x support.

You will need to add a conditional branch if you want to keep 8.x support.
I'll attach a sample patch.

Comment 4 Richard Yao (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-12-16 05:12:48 UTC
Thanks Yuta. I had intentionally kept an older version in the tree because the newer one had issues when I tested it. I will check out the status of the latest code as part of the next push I make to improve Gentoo FreeBSD, which will likely happen next weekend.

Is there any thing currently broken that would merit working on this sooner?

Currently, virtio modules is included in freebsd-sources-9.2.
