The ebuild currently has LICENSE="as-is" which most likely is wrong.

No license is included in the package's tarball.
http://search.cpan.org/dist/Mail-Sendmail/ says "License unknown".

Can you please ask upstream for clarification under with terms this package can be distributed?

It was released on CPAN, probably by its author. I don't worry about re-distribution especially when reading above licence statement. Maybe I am too lax.

@Licenses team: "Do whatever you want with it" should qualify as free software license (WTFPL has similar wording and is FSF approved). So I'll commit above snippet as Mail-Sendmail license file and add it to the MISC-FREE group.
