I've tried net-p2p/wire on my AMD64 box; it compiled fine (KEYWORDS="*") and runs, but I always got iconv errors when trying to actually do something:

iconv: Argument list too long

Currently, version 1.0.2 is in the portage tree with keywords "x86 ~ppc".
I then found that the current version is 1.1.3

I copied the ebuild, renamed it to wire-1.1.3.ebuild and added the keyword "amd64" to it.

It compiles and runs, without the iconv error.

Therefore I suggest a version bump.

The homepage looks to be down and I cannot find that newer and fixed tarball :S, maybe this old stuff should be treecleaned finally :|
