The last release of STLport (5.2.1) is cobwebbed and crusty: it fails to compile and does not support C++11 anyway.  However, work on STLport is still quite active in their git repo!  Could we please get an officially supported STLport-9999 ebuild into Portage?  Valentin David created one in his overlay in 2010 (which I have linked to), but it may need some work to bring it up to date.  Thanks, cheers.

It appears that STLport has not been under active development for some years.
