Just renaming the ebuild seems to work. I had to sync with Arch machine which has unison 2.40.102 installed and it didn't work with 2.40.65, so the update is really essential. Created attachment 340296 [details]
unison-2.40.102.ebuild
Renamed unison-2.40.65.ebuild and make it install icon and desktop file if built with USE=gtk.
This version fixes an annoying bug that shows up when synching large amounts of data: http://trac.macports.org/ticket/35116 Because of this error, older versions are simply not usable, at least for me. Perhaps this version or an newer one should be marked stable, so that people get a working version of unison right away when installing it. Is it really the case? unison is supposed to be compatible across the third version number. I Just tested 2.40.102 (from Gentoo) with 2.40.65 (from Debian). version bumped. Thanks a lot for reporting. |
