Both dispcalgui-0.9.9.1 and argyllcms-1.4.0 provide the same file, /lib/udev/rules.d/55-Argyll.rules, and thus cannot coexist on the same system.

Actual Results:  
File collision: /lib/udev/rules.d/55-Argyll.rules

Expected Results:  
Since dispcalgui requires argyllcms, only argyllcms should provide 55-Argyll.rules.

We fixed this about a month ago. Could it be that you haven't synced portage for a while or that you have an outdated overlay somewhere?

No, I just need to remember to search closed bugs, which don't show up on a standard search. The relevant entry is bug 440932.
