I really planned on not releasing a new g-s version of 3.4 but who knows, maybe I'm in the Holiday spirit or something. Gentoo-sources-3.4.24 released. Thanks. May I ask why ? I mean, at kernel.org, 3.5 and 3.6 series are tagged with EOL, unlike the 3.4 serie which will be supported for the next two years⁽¹⁾. Is there a general policy for gentoo-sources ? ⁽¹⁾ http://www.kroah.com/log/linux/stable-status-08-2012.html The gentoo-sources team has always (at least in my 4+ years here) only supported two versions. We were supporting two versions with 4 people on the team. Now, I am the only person making releases. So it all comes down to time. Which, as a unpaid volunteer, I have a dwindling supply of. |
