"emerge -u gv" consistently failed at the test for "checking for XawInitializeWidgetSet in -lXaw3d...".  I found a forum post that implicated the unicode flag, so I tried -upvt with unicode set; it wanted to rebuild the existing libXaw3d with unicode set.  I rebuilt libXaw3d +unicode and upgraded gv *without* unicode and it built.  So for that config test, gv requires libXaw3d be built with unicode, irrespective of the setting of the flag for gv.  The ebuild should reflect this.

okay, fixed in both 3.7.3-r1 and 3.7.3.90.  older ebuilds removed.
