Sorry for the typo: Temporary solution: ln -s /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.4/32/libstdc++.so.6.0.1 /usr/lib32/libstdc++.so.6 ln -s /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.4/32/libgcc_s.so.1 /usr/lib32/libgcc_s.so.1 Please provide the output of `emerge --info` as a comment as well as the full build log as an attachment. same for me /usr/lib32 had broken symlinks to these libs. so I fixed them as @ph suggested. My 'emerge --info' you can see here - http://paste.org.ru/?5yween Which 'full build log' I must attach, sys-devel/gcc? I think it would be not easy. I now notice these are run-time errors so that isn't necessary anymore. Assigned to maintainers! :) (In reply to comment #6) > Oh wait, my fault, it was morning here. I now notice these are run-time > errors so that isn't necessary anymore. Assigned to maintainers! :) All is well, thanks for the quick response ;) Unrelated to Skype itself, this is something to do with possible incomplete upgrade. gcc-config should have set the proper links in place for the 32bit libs to be in search path you can manually fix LDPATHS in /etc/env.d/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.5.4 so you don't need to re-emerge gcc. then re-run gcc-config. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 444193 *** The steps proposed by SpanKY in comment #9 did not fix it for me. I needed to add the following to the ld.so.conf.d directory and then run env-update && source /etc/profile $ cat /etc/ld.so.conf.d/05gcc-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.conf /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3 /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/32 After this, skype-4.x worked again. Is this something the gcc ebuild is supposed to do? |
