emerge /usr/portage/gnome-extra/gnome-utils/gnome-utils-1.4.1.2.ebuild Didn't you emerge it already ? No I didn't. Many thanks for the heads up. As I'm new to Gentoo (this is my first install), I have been using the web page with all the packages listed on it. This just lists "gnome-utils" as version 2.0. I didn't find anything on the web site about gtt, nor about looking in the portage structure for different Gnome builds. I do realise that give the state of flux with Gnome at the moment there are black holes but it might be a good idea for us newbies if there was a page on the web site pointing us in the right direction for this sort of thing. Again many thanks. |
