The VLC media player version 2.0.4 will not compile during emerge.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Update portage with an emerge --sync
2. Add media-video/vlc ~x86 (or corresponding arch) to package.keywords to make sure getting latest version.
3. emerge media-video/vlc

Actual Results:  
Will not finish compiling during emerge due to a syntax error that was released.

Expected Results:  
Code should compile.

VLC has patched it, this patch needs to be in Gentoo release.
