Since Amarok is considered part of KDE SC ( http://amarok.kde.org/ ), why is it in media-sound/ and not in kde-*/ group in portage?
Other related players like Dragon Player reside in kde-base.

kde-base contains only packages that are part of KDE SC releases. kde-misc contains application that need the plasma desktop and dont fit in a other main category. amarok can be used in gnome, razor-qt etc as well.
