I can confirm this with gcc-4.6.3 too. Argh, wait, sorry, I'm getting a different ICE. Can anyone repro? Nachtfalke, I can't find anything obviously bad in your emerge --info. Have you tried memcheck? It _might_ be hardware. Does it reliably fail the same way every time you try? I had a similar error (Internal compiler error) but I think it was on a different file. A second or third emerge succeeded. I seriously think this is some hardware problem or severely borked install. chromium-23 is in stable, and we would have many more people confirming the problem if it was broken ebuild. Feel totally free to re-open if you have data showing it's real. I think you're right, Paweł, I realized later that this error only happened for me once because I ran out of memory on a system with virtual memory disabled. |
