I cannot reproduce the problem. Juergen, you have been submitting a lot of bug reports about meld failing due to dbus problems. My suspicion is that there is something wrong with the way you configured dbus on your system, and not with individual packages like meld, gnome-screenshot, etc. I suppose that there are different problems with the DBUS errors. The problems connected with meld disappear after reboot. The problem with the screenshot does not disappear after reboot. My first message about the screenshot was not completely correct. The images created by gnome-screenshot has two colors. Parts of the backgrund have the correct colors, but all windows are black. I believe, that I have a default dbus configuration. Should I attach any files under /etc/dbus-1? After recompiling system (emerge -vuDNe system) and all gnome-packages (emerge -vDN `qlist -IC gnome`) without DEBUG flags (CFLAGS="-march=native -O2 -pipe"), the issue disappeared. The last was Bug 454536. And I have these issuses on several systems. But I think, that I did not change the default dbus configuration. How can I check, if there is some difference between my and the standard dbus configuration? I can neither reproduce with 3.8, please retry with it |
