1.6.0 is in java-overlay. 1.6.1 has been out for a while but it needs jasmin, which isn't packaged yet. The package has been removed from the tree for now as it was ancient and problems with gnu-classpath-0.99 prevent 1.6.0 from being moved to the tree.
