after eselect python2.7 and python-updater it works. python-updater re-emerged setuptools for python 2.7 (as opposed for python 3.2), so the problem maybe lays there (in setuptools) You need to run python-updater. OK. I just found strange, when on clean install the emerge fails. Anyway, just now I need that for a project, which is not python-3 ready, so I "solved" it by other means (masked python-3 and such). Just wanted to help with bulletproof defaults. No longer problem to me. (In reply to comment #4) > OK. Long term, I think this will be addressed when we migrate ebuilds to the python-r1 eclass. |
