I have this problem as well. I have an MSI GeForce 440 MX on an ASUS 440BX mobo. In my case, if I do "rc-update del consolefont", then I get underlined blue text instead of strike-through blue text. This is really no better in vim-it's still distracting-and the card's font is very ugly. I tried setting the DIR line in /etc/DIR_COLORS to a couple of different settings like 00;34 and 04;34 which didn't work. 04;34 resulted in bold white text instead of underlined blue text. ive seen this before; it's a hardware issue edit /etc/rc.conf and set CONSOLEFONT to something that works for that machine |
