Description Juergen Rose 2012-10-21 11:38:32 UTC
Apache fails to start with:

root@impala:/root(43)# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
 * apache2 has detected an error in your setup:

AH00526: Syntax error on line 61 of /etc/apache2/modules.d/40_mod_ssl.conf:
Invalid Mutex directory in argument file:/var/run/apache_ssl_mutex
 * ERROR: apache2 failed to start
root@impala:/root(44)# qlist -Iv apache
app-admin/apache-tools-2.4.3
www-servers/apache-2.4.3
root@impala:/root(45)# qfile -v 40_mod_ssl.conf
www-servers/apache-2.4.3 (/etc/apache2/modules.d/40_mod_ssl.conf)

If I create manually a directory /var/run/apache_ssl_mutex, I can start apache, but after the next reboot I have the same issue.
