In metadata.xml:
<flag name="gtk">
 Enable the dialog pages, by using <pkg>x11-libs/gtk:2</pkg>
</flag>
In "x11-libs/gtk:2" a "+" is missing.

Should be
<flag name="gtk">
 Enable the dialog pages, by using <pkg>x11-libs/gtk+:2</pkg>
</flag>
