Does this patch solve the problem? http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/fvwm.git/plain/fvwm-0005-FvwmPager-be-more-careful-with-window-labels.patch (proxy-maintainers, I CC you because i92guboj doesn't have commit access neither proxy committer... maybe it's time to become a developer with commit rights ;)) Well, not sure if that is needed since this is also under desktop-wm herd... Created attachment 326192 [details] emerge --info of my machine Yesterday I upgraded from fvwm 2.6.3 to fvwm 2.6.5. With the new fvwm 2.6.5, every time I open the addon tab in thunderbird and switch back to my mail tab fvwm crashes, taking me back to the gdm login screen. The same crash happens randomly when switching firefox tabs. I tried fvwm 2.6.5 using the USE=vanilla or USE=-vanilla but the same crash happen with both versions. Now, I downloaded the latest CVS version of fvwm 2.6.5 and compiled it: it works perfectly, no crash since then. I attached my emerge --info to this post, but I can also attach my .fvwm2rc config file if you need.
