I get the exact same error. And I get it regardless of running openoffice, openoffice-ximian or openoffice-bin. CFLAGS="-march=athlon-xp -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" My use flags for this package are +gnome -kde. I am running with ~x86 keyword. And between testing the different versions I have unmerged the others and made sure that there are no .openoffice or .sversionrc. Created attachment 28853 [details]
Strace output of OpenOffice setup
I have the same exact issue. But mine is from OpenOffice-1.1.0-r2. The problem seems to stem from the setup program for OpenOffice. I have attached the strace output of setup. I have tried removing the dot file in the home directory, created a new user, and tried from root to no avail. I should note that I have had 1.1.0-r2 version of OpenOffice running for a while now with no problems. This is something that cropped up over the last two weeks. That was the last time that I ran OpenOffice successfully. Same over here, is there a workarround? do I need to test something? I can't reproduce that bug, also do you still get it? Reporter of the bug mailed me that this is gone now, so closing |
