Description tankkiller7 2012-10-04 02:48:43 UTC
An upstream bug(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=834494) that has broken auto-elevation for administration in 107-r1 has been corrected (https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2012-14378/polkit-0.107-3.fc18)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ensure that a 99-admin.rules (as per the polkit gentoo wiki) is in both /usr/share/polkit-1/rules and /etc/polkit-1/rules dictionary.
2. Try to execute a polkit aware program as a user in group wheel
3. Get prompt demanding the password for superuser, and not the wheel user password.
Actual Results:
Get prompt demanding the password for superuser, and not the wheel user password.

Expected Results:
Get prompt demanding password for the user (who is in the wheel group.)

Wrong on my part, The upstream has made it to where the workaround is no longer required.

0.107-r1 is the next stable target and should work just fine even for this scenario
