We have many working installs of keepalived. When we upgraded two of our machines to 1.2.7-r1 they started spewing "Keepalived_vrrp[...]: receive an invalid ip number count associated with VRID!" errors into the logs. When we rolled back to 1.2.2-r4 the errors went away. Interestingly enough we only needed to roll back one of the machines to silence the errors.

Obviously VRRP failed to work while this error was being reported.

Does the latest 1.2.8 solve this issue please ?

I've been running 1.2.8 on two of our servers for a week now and we are not having this issue. I would call it solved. THX
