emerge --info net-misc/{networkmanager,modemmanager}
I suffer the same Is this error still present with networkmanager-0.9.6.4? If yes, then you probably want to help modemmanager developers diagnose the problem here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=671855 I also share exactly the same experience. Some times unpluging and pluging the usb-stick device helps, and some time only after a restart it is recognized by nm again. I cannot test it right now for 0.9.8.2... if anybody else can... Also, upstream requests modemmanager log files (with more recent version) -> please jump to upstream report https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=671855 |
