I recently performed an unexpected system rebuild, and I'm having trouble getting Return to Castle Wolfenstein working again. I get no menu, and no obvious way to start a game. Entering 'quit' will let me exit the game gracefully. The output above is from a fresh profile (ie., after removing ~/.wolf), but I get the same behavior even if I try to use my old profile. The multiple version (rtcwmp) behaves the same way. So far I haven't had any luck figuring out the cause, but based on this semi-related forum thread I'm guessing it may be related to the zlib/minizip changes from last year: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-902090-start-0.html Unfortunately, that thread is specifically about urbanterror, and the fix appears to be a source code patch. I don't seem to have that option here. That's also assumes, of course, that this is indeed the same issue. Anyone able to confirm one way or another what's causing this? Any fixes or workarounds?
