Tryign to uppgrade to newest version of scribus, by a simple "emerge -pu world". The merging of scribus fails, with the following error message

inherit kde-functions
need-qt 3

that should fix this

ebuild fix suggested in comment #1 worked for me. That was the only change.
There are no more access violations.
