I can't reproduce this. Which versions of boost do you have installed, which is eselected? 1.42 1.48 1.49 1.49 eselected I am on stable gcc btw not sure if that is related, but libreoffice also bitches around with boost:1.49 and gcc:4.5 I'll do some testing with gcc:4.6 tomorrow (In reply to comment #3) > I am on stable gcc btw > > not sure if that is related, but libreoffice also bitches around with > boost:1.49 and gcc:4.5 > > I'll do some testing with gcc:4.6 tomorrow OK, thanks. Also, what happens precisely if you run freeorion from the command line? You just drop back there? Can you strace it? Would be also nice to retry with now unslotted boost versions (In reply to comment #5) > (In reply to comment #4) > > (In reply to comment #3) > > > I am on stable gcc btw > > > > > > not sure if that is related, but libreoffice also bitches around with > > > boost:1.49 and gcc:4.5 > > > > > > I'll do some testing with gcc:4.6 tomorrow > > > > OK, thanks.
