While trying to install Gentoo on my Celeron-based computer I bumped into the following error:

checking whether setvbuf arguments are reversed... configure: error: cannot run test program while cross compiling

There seams to be many people with this problem. I'd figure it has something to do with the tarball since people in the forum reports success with tarballs from sept 11, 2003.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a fresh start from sractch with the current LiveCD.
2. Copy the tarball from the cd or from any mirror from  the catalouge releases/2004.0/x86
3. Proceed with normal installationprocess untill you reach emerge system. Here the error apears.
Actual Results:

Due to a missunderstanding, the bug can be closed. The installation that failed was intended for SELinux. (stage1-x86-pie-ssp-2004.0.tar.bz2)
