berlin is seriously b0rked, as far as I know, which is why it was removed from categories. As for net-apache, I will investigate. seemant: has any progress been made on this? Donny, do you know anything of the net-apache category that is mentioned here? Hmm, it's been over a month with no results on this one, anyone paying attention? ;) seemant, i think we talked about this already.. or maybe it was g2boojum.. either way; please nuke the net-apache category. what about the dirs (in /usr/portage): files, gnome-apps, gnome-libs, gnome-office, incoming, kde-apps, kde-i18n, kde-libs, sys-build? They only contain directories (no ebuilds) and are not in profiles/categories. where does metadata come from? its not in the cvs (according to cvsweb). is it needed? for what? portage internal cache? I wiped berlin-base - the project is called fresco now. Therefore i created a new category which is called "freco-base" (surprise), but i didnt put it into the categories-file, because fresco is not usable for users yet (its for developers and maintainers - thats pretty much it). When the project reaches some release state, i'll set up the category. Comments? -phoen][x- Closing this bug. -phoen][x- |
