I could determine that this happens after supend to ram (kde menu) or just using the command qdbus org.freedesktop.PowerManagement /org/kde/Solid/PowerManagement suspendToRam Steps to reproduce (ffx=firefox): 1. Start ffx 2. Deactivate flash plugin (in my case I have all plugins deactivated) 3. Play a youtube video 4. Stop ffx. 5. Suspend to RAM 6. Start ffx 7. Trying to play a youtube video does not work, with the symptoms previously described. This is not 100% of the time. I could play it once, but only once. To be able to play the videos again I needed to do: Just reboot or 1. Enable flash plugin 2. Stop ffx 3. Restart firefox and start playing a video 4. Disable flash 5. Now you may play any video again, even after stop/restart ffx until you suspend to ram This is gonna be a video card issue I am sure, but lets here from the X11 team. (In reply to comment #0) > VIDEO_CARDS="nv nvidia vesa fbdev" The NVidia proprietary driver is not maintained by x11 team. Feel free to assign to us when the issue can be reproduced with nouveau. If you can reproduce with new esr branch ( 31.3.0 ) please reopen and update bug completely. |
