sys-libs/glibc-2.16.0 builds fine... didn't test if it's working fine! Looks like bug 336020 too. (In reply to comment #6) > Looks like bug 336020 too. Rebuilding Toolchain like in 336020 tried before bugreport was filed. Didn't work! Fedora fixes the problem, using AVX-Patches from glibc-2.16 and another patch. Using patch from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=801650 and patches from glibc-git (attached version without patching Changelog/NEWS) seems to work. Test-VM builds glibc flawlessly (CFLAGS="-march=core2 -mtune=generic -O2 -pipe"), could be (re)booted without problems and "invalid opcode"-error messages are also gone in the virtual machine. I did not notice any problems in the last 13 days on productive systems... i added a bunch of fixes from upstream to glibc-2.15-r3 that should fix this *** Bug 424577 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
