Please enable the 'berkdb' use flag. The ebuild already prints a warning which you must have missed ewarn "\nPostfix is installed without BerkeleyDB support." ewarn "Please turn on berkdb USE flag for hash or btree table" ewarn "lookup support.\n" Thanks. I realized it after I submitted the bug. Forgot to read to "fine print" :-) Over the years of upgrading I usually catch most of the packages that can cripple my system but occasionally like this one it happens that it can be missed. I wish there was a better way to communicate such subtotal changes to us users. I catch the changed that were provided via "eselect news" /usr/libexec/postfix but I wish the news mentioned something about important flag changes like this one. By default, in USE flag I have "berkdb" disable globally hence my problem. |
