I also encountered exactly this bug, due to USE="java multilib". does this problem still exist in gcc 3.4 snapshots? the amd64 default use settings have been updated to add nogcj so that gcj wont be compiled by default. this fixes the problem, but still doesnt enable gcj to be compiled with multilib enabled. there's a fix in gcc cvs, so it should trickle it's way down once gcc 3.4 is released http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2004-01/msg02442.html I am having this problem with sys-devel/gcc-3.3.4-r1 on amd64. Is anyone working on that issue? Johnny |
