Comment 2 Antonio 2004-02-29 04:02:02 UTC
This drver support: Debian, Gentoo1.4, Mandrake9.1, RedHat9.0, Slackware9.0, SuSe8.0, Turbo9.0.
I tested with source for Gentoo1.4 and with Atapi driver present in this package.
Atapi driver work fine for me, with Gentoo1.4 found kernel panic when remove module.
I propose test and correct this driver.

Thank's

PS. Sorry for my bad english !

Does this work with a 2.6 kernel? What is the Makefile patch for? Is that for the kernel's makefile, or the makefile for the drivers?
Comment 6 Antonio 2004-04-20 03:42:13 UTC
The pach makefile is for drivers makefile
Home site of productor report drivers for kernel 2.6

Does your ebuild still work? Are you still interested in getting this into the tree? I saw drivers for it8212 and it8211, should we do them in one or two ebuilds?
