Can you post some links to the patches you found? |
Created attachment 321978 [details] Output of "dmesg" and "lsusb.py" Dear Gentoo-Team, I have a USB 3.0 4-port HUB (uses a VIA chip, see attached lsusb.py output) connected to my USB 3.0 2-port PCIe-card (chip unknown, produced by Transcend). When the VIA HUB is plugged in, I found the following message several times in my syslog: "xhci_hcd 0000:01:00.0: WARN Event TRB for slot 1 ep 0 with no TDs queued?" I did some searching using Google and I found some patches about that VIA xHCI problem, but the all didn't seem to match my kernel version (3.5.2-gentoo at the moment, see attached dmesg output for more information). If I try to plug in some devices into the VIA HUB, the all stop working after a short period of time. I guess this is caused by the VIA HUB. If I don't use it, there are no problems anymore connecting devices to the USB 3.0 PCIe card. So please can some help me, this bug is really annoying because I need this HUB since many (mirco)-USB cables are very, very short. Thank a lot in advance. Christopher.
