Maybe related to this ? : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261538#c35 Seems, that the " KXMLGUIClient memory corruption warning " makes more trouble than it does solve :-( Thanks for reporting and spotting the fix. This is fixed in CVS now.
