try the 2004.0 livecd for amd64 This bug is still in the 2004.1 (04/19/2004) minimal cd: install-amd64-minimal-2004.1.iso yeah, modules were very busted on the early 2004 livecds. try a 2004.2 test livecd at http://dev.gentoo.org/~wolf31o2/releng and reopen if it does not work. I have tried this with the official (minimal) 2004.2 amd64 livecd and had to modprobe sk98lin to get my network adapter to work. While no problem in itself, it took me 30 minutes of googling to find the correct module. Would be great to autodetect this one... Please reopen, I may not do that... |
