There is no such thing as app-text/poppler-qt4 in Portage and the ebuild has the correct dependency of:

$ grep poppler *.ebuild
qcomicbook-0.8.2.ebuild:	app-text/poppler[qt4]"
qcomicbook-0.9.0.ebuild:	app-text/poppler[qt4]"
