Problem 1. Need tratsui as a dep for the test phase, Problem 2. The enthoughts packages such as envisage are installed assuming some enthoughts packages are in a folder enthoughts from enthought.traits.api import Interface archtester envisagecore # qlist traits | grep api /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/traits/api.py /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/traits/protocols/api.py /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/traits/testing/api.py /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/traits/etsconfig/api.py /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/traits/util/api.py /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/traitsui/api.py /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/traitsui/editors/api.py /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/traitsui/extras/api.py Problem 3. http://code.enthought.com/projects/files/ETS32_API/enthought.preferences.html This enthoughts site is problem 3. As much as I try to find the source for the packages preferences, the site dances around and around the package and never gets there. The test suite of envisagecore requires the package as a dep for test phase. Someone have the knack of probing the site and pinning the package so as to make a new ebuild? tests packages of Enthought attempt to import from an installed directory structure that contradicts the installed state from their own cohort enthought deps. Patience exhausted. Tests restricted |
