I doubt this is a packaging issue, could you try reporting it upstream? Just ftr indexing works fine here I made an bug report upstream [1]. [1] https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=304982 There is now a fix @ the upstream bug. Maybe we can backport the fix. It seems to be quite trivial? Thanks all. KDE SC 4.9.1 is now in tree.
