If someone with practically no perl could test this to see if I missed
dependencies.

Unfortunately, current Gentoo policy, because of the size of dev-perl and the strain of maintaining it, states that we can only add perl modules to the tree if they either provide functionality via bundled utilities, or if they are dependancies for other applications. Does this meet either of those requirements? If not, really sorry, -mike ok I understand... I think I'm the only one using gentoo and making perl scripts in Latin, so you can leave it out then.
